For years, our primary audience consisted of Generation Y (Millennials), who favored traditional teaching methods while being open to new technologies and interactive approaches. Now, Generations Z and Alpha form an increasing share of our target group, expecting interactive and engaging teaching methods that match their fast-paced lifestyles and multitasking tendencies. These generations, shaped by the digital revolution, have had access to the Internet and social media from birth. They value innovation, environmental consciousness, personal growth, and access to personalized education and training.
The characteristics of younger generations significantly influence the professions they pursue. Understanding future professions and the skills required for them is essential. Young people face the challenge of acquiring specific skills for their future careers. Simultaneously, teaching methods and educational tools must evolve to meet the demands of these new generations and their changing environment.
Gamification has become a crucial educational tool in this dynamic context. By leveraging game mechanics, gamification motivates and engages youth, offering an innovative learning approach particularly suited to Generations Z and Alpha, who grew up with computer games and digital entertainment. Gamification is one of the most promising tools for effectively imparting knowledge and preparing youth for future challenges.
Project’s aims
- Support young people from Generation Z and Alpha in discovering their career aspirations and developing the soft skills needed to thrive in the jobs of the future.
- Empower youth workers with innovative, gamified educational tools and methods that respond to the changing needs of modern learners.
- Create and widely disseminate high-quality, practical educational resources – including a guide, a toolkit, and a board game – that promote career awareness and youth engagement across europe.

During the 3-day training, we will explore the topic of future professions and the evolving needs of Generation Z and Alpha in the job market. Together, we will co-create the first project result – a practical guide titled “Skills and professions of the future“, which will include 50 future-oriented careers, along with the key skills and knowledge required to succeed in them. This training will also be a space for exchanging ideas, sharing good practices, and building a common educational vision for the future.
Cesenatico (Italy): 05/05/2026 – 12/05/2026
During the 8-day training, we will explore the topic of gamification in education.
We will focus on:
- Gamification and its potential in education;
- Practical workshops on the creation of lesson scenarios using gamification elements;
- Case studies and examples of successful implementations of gamification in youth work;
- Design and implementation of educational games.
Together, we will co-create one of the project results – a practical Toolkit titled “Empowering youth through gamification” , which will include 100 workshop scenarios.
