“Make it greener” is a youth mobility project that will bring together 40 participants and 8 group leaders from 8 European countries (Spain, Italy, Latvia, Sweden, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, and the Netherlands) in a 5-day activity program focused on the importance of nature, ecology, responsible consumption, and community building.
The project offers participants the opportunity to become European ambassadors of political, environmental, and social ecology, as well as to develop a conscious understanding of their power as consumers.
The main objective is to raise awareness about the negative impacts of overconsumption on the environment and natural resources, by reconnecting young people with nature and outdoor activities. At the same time, the project aims to promote the value of community culture based on cooperation, fairness, and collective action.
The objectives of the project are:
- Raise awareness about the negative impacts of overconsumption on the environment and natural resources.
- Highlight the importance of sustainable and responsible consumption practices.
- Foster a sense of social and environmental responsibility among young people.
- Promote community cooperation and collective action over individualistic behaviors.
- Create a supportive environment for young people to share ideas, collaborate, and develop leadership skills.
- Reconnect young people with nature and outdoor activities.
- Promote intercultural dialogue and European values.
