The project “FASHCOOL: Find FASHhion in Culture: be COOL” will be held in Madrid, Spain and will bring together 36 participants between 16 and 30 years old from 6 different countries: Turkey, Greece, Italy, Romania, France and Spain. It would be great to involve participants with fewer opportunities and victims of geographic, social or economic obstacles.
The project aims to raise awareness among the participants of the importance and the cultural wealth of diversity, using fashion as a tool, which is the result of historical events, traditions, and the culture of a country.
Each country will try to clearly define its own culture through fashion and then share it with the other countries. This will enable participants to gain new knowledge and help create an even greater sense of community within Europe.
After raising the sense of awareness about the cultural identification by studying and creating fashion clothes, participants will be able to share this knowledge in their home societies with families and friends.
