The European Union has built up policies and programs over time to outline an open and common space between European countries to promote the mobility of young people and the possibility of designing their own future based on European economic, social and cultural opportunities.
The European horizons have become part of the life dimension of young people who are the fundamental resource of the future of Europe. The European Union represents the concrete dimension of the life and work projects of young people; the local dimension is very important but if it turns into localism it involves the growth of inequalities of opportunities and perspectives.
Promoting the mobility of young people (boys and girls) is a strategic choice of the European Union which over the years has strengthened policies and programs (Erasmus+, European Solidarity Corps, Creative Europe) to support opportunities for students, but also for young professionals, apprentices and entrepreneurs.
The European Union’s Youth Strategy includes various policies aimed at young people: Mobility and participation, Training and Work, Creativity and culture.
The meeting is aimed at young students, volunteers, creatives, entrepreneurs and organizations active in the social, educational and cultural fields.
