The project include two activities: a Study Visit for youth workers in Vadul lui Vodă (Moldova) and a Training Course in Matlock (United Kingdom).
The project aims to develop youth workers’ capacity in supporting culturally marginalized young diaspora in Europe to embrace and engage their transcultural identity and civil citizenship.
The objectives of the project are as follows:
- To support youth workers’ understanding of migration and integration;
- To strengthen youth workers understanding of culture, identity and citizenship;
- To support youth workers’ deepened understanding of cultural marginalization and the challenges culturally marginalized young people can face;
- To introduce youth workers to best practices in fostering young diaspora’s transcultural identity and active citizenship;
- To strengthen youth worker’s non-formal education toolbox for working with culture, identity and citizenship education;
- To support youth workers in developing their own non-formal learning methodology that fosters transcultural identity and active citizenship amongst young diaspora in Europe;
- To support youth workers in developing partnerships and strategies in fostering young diaspora’s transcultural identity and active citizenship.
